Sky-Blue Ru Kiln Gaiwan "Red Hibiscus"
This hand-painted gaiwan comes from Jingdezhen, China's historic porcelain capital. It features a classic sky-blue Ru glaze with a smooth, jade-like texture and a soft, luminous finish.
Each piece is individually decorated by artist Xiao Hua. The vivid red hibiscus blossoms echo a line from ancient poetry: "Like a beauty newly tipsy, lazily raising her mirror." The design balances graceful floral charm with the serene, understated elegance of wabi-sabi.
