Hand-Painted Ru Kiln Gaiwan
This exquisite three-piece gaiwan (lid, bowl, and saucer) is crafted in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi — China's historic porcelain capital. Painted by renowned local artist Xiao Hua, the design captures the delicate beauty of osmanthus blossoms in full bloom, with a bee gathering nectar. The brushwork is fluid and natural, featuring elegant pale leaves and golden flowers.
Fired using traditional Ru kiln techniques, the sky-blue glaze has a warm, jade-like texture. Over time, the glaze develops fine crackle patterns, creating a unique patina that records your personal tea journey.
